The morning started off early with a run in Ocean Beach, which was perfect to avoid today’s Heat Advisory. Yes - it’s hot here in San Diego - reaching a high of 84! You folks out in Death Valley, Arizona, and Texas…don’t come at me!
The run was great, mostly through the neighborhoods, as I discovered there is no path along the beach. It was nice to see OB with only a few beachgoers and Newport Avenue clear. Grabbed some tea and a breakfast burrito following the run at Benedict’s at Ocean Villa Inn. Not sure how many variations of a breakfast burrito you can possibly have, but this one was absolutely amazing!

Talking about AMAZING - San Diego Football Club (SDFC) won an amazing match last night at Snapdragon Stadium, 1-0 against Dallas FC. The energy was extremely high and the team came out strong. My favorites, David Vasquez and Luca Bombino, were strong and fast - nice to see the team coming together after a long World Cup break.
To cap off the night, I finished watching Shrinking and let me say, what a great series on AppleTV. The Season Finale almost made me cry!! Now to finish The Ultimatum before Ted Lasso comes out on Aug. 5!
Between trying to stay cool, might hit up the San Diego Wave match this afternoon, while continuing to finally set-up my outdoor patio that I’ve been wanting to do since I moved here. Got the Surfboard hanging, and now time to get the mess cleaned up and table & chairs in place.
